Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
PTSD is a mental health condition that can develop after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event. It may involve intrusive memories, flashbacks, nightmares, and heightened anxiety, often interfering with daily life. At Mind Wellness, we focus on personalized psychiatric evaluations and medication management to help reduce symptoms, improve functioning, and restore emotional balance.

Initial Assessment
We begin with a detailed psychiatric evaluation to understand your PTSD symptoms, personal history, and how trauma impacts your daily life. Our Mental Health Provider gathers information on triggers, emotional responses, and coping patterns to create a tailored medication plan.
Establishing Goals
Together, we set clear, achievable treatment goals — such as reducing intrusive memories, improving sleep quality, and managing anxiety — to guide the treatment process.
Exploration and Insight
In a safe, supportive environment, we help you explore how trauma has shaped your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This insight is an important step toward regaining a sense of control.
Skill Building
Alongside medication management, we provide coping strategies such as grounding techniques, relaxation methods, and healthy daily routines to reduce symptom intensity.
Building Self Confidence
As symptoms improve, we work with you to rebuild self-trust, resilience, and a renewed sense of safety in daily life.
Monitoring Progress
We regularly review your medication response, track progress toward your goals, and make adjustments as needed to keep treatment effective and supportive.
